The Gallery of Outstanding Orenburg Residents «Our People» is a project of the Orenburg charitable foundation «Eurasia», winner of the President of the Russian Federation's grant. On an area of 56 square meters, 30 renowned people connected with Orenburg are presented. The exhibition includes original documents, photographs and objects such as Yuri Entin's concert jacket, a portrait of Garri Bardin, a bronze by Ernst Neizvestny, and manuscripts by Vladimir Makanin. Among performers and composers are Yuri Shatunov, Yan Frenkel and Solovyov‑Sedoy. Theater and film actors include Georgy Martynyuk, Viktor Bortsov, Lev Durov, Maya Polyanskaya and Vladimir Uralsky. Anti‑fascist heroes are Musa Jalil and Alexander Shmorel. Heads of state include Georgy Malenkov and Viktor Chernomyrdin. Writers include Vladimir Makanin, Yulian Semyonov and the Strugatsky brothers. Artists include Vladimir Kibalchich and Sergei Kalmykov. Screenwriters include Alexey Samoryadov and Vladimir Kunin. The museum houses the poster of the film «Moabit Notebook» and a 1924 Remington Portable typewriter.
