In the village of Ust-Koksa, on the site of the central homestead of the Katunsky Biosphere Reserve, a museum was established in an octagonal log ail (a traditional Altai dwelling). It displays traditional household items, including national clothing, tableware, musical instruments, and hunting and herding gear.
