About museum
Exhibition Hall of the Alexandrov Art Museum was opened in 1989 and is part of the museum together with the main building — the estate of merchant Alexey Mikhailovich Pervushin. The museum's collections contain about 16,000 items, including paintings, graphics, sketches, textiles, decorative and applied arts, documents, photographs, diaries, household items, etc. This hall hosts permanent exhibitions, as well as guided tours and interactive games. For example, during the game "In Search of the Golden Cup" anyone can feel like an archaeologist, and in the game "War... Life Before and After" visitors can see and experience the atmosphere of war. In addition, about thirty solo and group exhibitions of works by artists from the Vladimir and Moscow regions and other regions of Russia are held throughout the year.
