Palace of the Viceroy
About museum
The Palace of the Viceroy is the central museum complex of the Tobolsk Kremlin, which was opened in 2009. The main exhibition is devoted to the history of Siberian administration from the 17th century until 1917. The building has three floors: the first presents the history of the voivodeship, the second the governorship, and the third houses various exhibition halls. Visitors can also view the exhibition "Culture and Everyday Life of Siberian Tatars." The Palace of the Viceroy hosts events of various kinds, including business meetings, conferences, weddings, and birthday parties. There is also a café, "Palace Gingerbread," offering Siberian gingerbreads made according to ancient recipes, as well as a children's playground "Ostrozhok." The Palace of the Viceroy combines the historic part of the city, cozy halls, and modern sound and lighting equipment, making it one of the best communication venues in the city and region.
