About museum
Dyurtyulinsky Historical and Local History Museum was opened in 1989 to serve the public. It preserves more than 23,000 artifacts of material and spiritual culture. There are 14 exhibition halls, each of which tells in detail about the life of the town and its inhabitants at all stages of history - from antiquity to the present. The museum exhibits national costumes, coral and silver jewelry, as well as a rich ethnographic hall with a peasant izba, a Bashkir yurt, and paleontological finds. The museum organizes themed event cycles and walking tours of the town's streets with visits to the main sites of Dyurtyuli's cultural and historical heritage. The museum offers all visitors an informative and engaging experience, helping to understand the life and traditions of the people of Dyurtyuli.
