House-Museum of B. I. Prorokov

The museum of the People's Artist of the USSR is located in a wooden one-storey house that was built in 1927 and belonged to the parents of B. I. Prorokov, who lived here from 1927 to 1949. The museum's collections comprise 2,312 storage units. The memorial and art exhibition presents the master's works from the late 1920s to the early 1970s: graphics, painting, sculpture, sketches, drafts, the artist's repetitions and variants of well-known series, as well as books, photographs, documents and awards. The museum regularly hosts temporary exhibitions of works by Ivanovo artists.
