Strukov Dacha
About museum
\r\nThe "Strukov Dacha" estate is an interesting example of wooden architecture that combines elements of folk architecture and classicism. It is located near the railway and is surrounded by a forest-park strip. The builder and first owner of the estate was the Moscow entrepreneur Nikolai Ivanovich Strukov. In 1928 Konstantin Paustovsky began living at the estate, where he wrote the novel "The Shining Clouds." At that time he met Vladimir Mayakovsky and Mikhail Bulgakov. These impressions are reflected in his works "The Romantics," "Snow," and "The Book of Wanderings." Today the "Strukov Dacha" is a branch of the Pushkino City Museum.
