Central Exhibition Hall 'Manege'

About museum

The Central Exhibition Hall 'Manege' is the largest exhibition space in the center of Saint Petersburg, hosting art exhibitions and related events. It is located in the historic building of the regimental manege of the Imperial Horse Guard, which was built by the renowned architect Giacomo Quarenghi. After restoration and modernization, the hall became a popular venue for world-class events, as well as educational and outreach programs. Its own collection houses a unique assemblage of the Museum of Art of Saint Petersburg of the 20th–21st centuries, which includes works by 380 artists and reflects the history of the city's visual arts over the past two centuries. It showcases the most vivid and characteristic phenomena of the city's culture.
