About museum
Yasnogorsk District Art and Local History Museum received its first visitors on December 2, 1971. The museum's exhibition design immediately attracted the attention of visitors of different ages and interests: three nature halls, an antiquities hall, a hall of military glory, and a hall of the Soviet period. At various times the museum underwent reconstructions, exhibits were updated, and collections were replenished with new acquisitions.
