Chest portrait of a man sitting in an armchair. The elderly man is turned three-quarters to the left. He has short-cropped gray hair with high receding hairlines, a small mustache and brown eyes. In his left hand is a rolled—up magazine. He was wearing a dark grey jacket, a white shirt with a brown tie and a bright green vest. The background is brown. At the bottom right, where the date and signature of the author are (M. Vladykin, 1931), part of the inscription is covered with kraft paper. The work is done in oil on cardboard.
