\r\nThe Arbat Municipal Open-Air Museum was established on February 12, 2013, and unites two museums: the open-air museum 'Maloarbatskaya Pisanitsa' and the Museum of Ethnography and Everyday Life 'Cossack Homestead'. They are located on the territory of the Arbat settlement in the Tashtypsky District of the Republic of Khakassia and promote the culture of the local peoples. The basis of the 'Maloarbatskaya Pisanitsa' museum is an archaeological monument on which anthropomorphic and Khakas signs are depicted. The 'Cossack Homestead' was built in 1896 in the center of the village of Arbats and is an authentic Cossack izba. Visitors to the museum are invited to learn about the history and culture of the Arbat settlement by walking through the archaeological and historical sites.
