About museum

In 1987 V. I. Volkov, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, founded the Aksubaevsky Local History Museum, which is located on the second floor of the District House of Culture. The museum's staff consists of five people. As of January 1, 2021, the museum's holdings amounted to 2,727 storage units, of which the main holdings numbered 2,485 units and the scientific and auxiliary holdings 242. The museum's exhibition displays various exhibits: paintings, applied art objects, household and ethnographic items, numismatic objects, documents, photographs and negatives, printed materials, sculptures, journals, books and other items.
