About exhibition

The exhibition presents materials from the personal archives of participants of the Afghan war, military conflicts and operations in the Transcaucasus, North Ossetia and Chechnya — award documents, photographs, letters and pages from the photo albums of soldiers of the Russian army and internationalist fighters. In the exhibition hall, visitors can learn about the biography of our fellow countryman, recipient of the Order of Courage, FSB Lieutenant Colonel and officer of Directorate “V” of the Special Purpose Center of the FSB of Russia, Pavel Alikovich Skorokhodov, and see personal items and pieces of equipment of a modern special forces operator. A separate section of the exhibition is dedicated to those who died in the line of duty — to those in whose honor memorial plaques have been installed, who are commemorated with named tournaments, and after whom educational institutions are named.
