The local history exhibition 'Reutov — From Wasteland to Science City' includes a series of historical and local-history dioramas dedicated to the main milestones in the development of the Reutov area. Despite its relatively short history as a city, it has a rich past. In its development, the territory where Reutov now stands went through several historical stages: wasteland, village, seltso (small rural settlement), factory and workers' settlement, town and, finally, a science city of the Russian Federation. From wasteland to science city — such is the path Reutov has taken in its bright and remarkable history. The exhibition features a number of original items, photographs, and documents. The display will be of interest both to general visitors and to amateur and expert history enthusiasts.
