About exhibition

The museum displays various exhibits reflecting the everyday life of different eras and cultures. These include household items, clothing, tools, jewelry, and much more. Also on display are paintings, sculptures, and decorative and applied art objects that reflect aesthetic tastes and notions of beauty from different periods. The collection features household items and personal effects of railway travelers at the turn of the 19th–20th centuries, as well as photographs and documents recounting the early stages of Russian railway construction.
