The exhibition tells the story of the military actions in Kuban in the context of the confrontation between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. It displays the equipment, weapons, and gear of Soviet and German forces, as well as personal belongings, documents, and photographs of battle participants. The diorama 'Battle on the Hill of Heroes' depicts the liberation of Kuban and the breach of the 'Blue Line' in May 1943. The exhibition is supplemented with video and audio materials. It covers the period from 1937 (the year Krasnodar Krai was formed, the prewar period) to 1945 and recounts the events of the Great Patriotic War that took place in Kuban, as well as the contribution of Kuban residents to the Great Victory. Special attention is paid to types of military equipment and their modifications during the war years. Approximately 500 original exhibits from the museum's military collection were used in the creation of the display.
