The exhibition reflects the recent history of the city of Krasnoturyinsk. It features the city's enterprises and institutions, personal collections of honorary citizens, athletes, and workers in healthcare, education, and culture. The city's multiethnic and multi-confessional character is presented through household items, musical instruments, and costumes of the peoples living in Krasnoturyinsk. The 'Hot Spot' section gathers the stories of Krasnoturyinsk residents who took part in local wars and conflicts. Visitors can see soldiers' personal belongings, a mannequin of a special forces assault-group fighter in full combat gear, and life-size models of weapons that visitors are invited to handle and try to disassemble and reassemble.
