Exhibition "The Land Where I Live"
About exhibition
The attractiveness of any district or region is determined by the appeal of its museum as the place where its historical and informational memory is concentrated. In the exhibition halls, the museum’s concept and thematic structure are organized according to a thematic-chronological principle based on the periodization of history. A wide variety of documents, photographs and household items are displayed in the museum’s exhibitions about the town’s early builders, about the heroism and feats of Zernograd residents during the Great Patriotic War, about underground resistance fighters, and about scientific achievements of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. The museum preserves the memorial collections of State Prize laureate and scientist-inventor N. D. Vlasenko, Doctor of Economic Sciences and VASKhNIL academician M. S. Runchev, among others.
