April 12 is celebrated as Cosmonautics Day. The date was established to commemorate the first human spaceflight. This exhibition, timed to coincide with that day, is drawn from the collections of the Museum of History of the Izobilnensky District and features documents, photographs, and commemorative gifts from pilot-cosmonauts who visited the Izobilnensky District. The exhibition consists of the following sections: "Portraits of Scientist-Astronomers", "History of Russian Cosmonautics", "Space Exploration: The First Pilot-Cosmonauts", "People from Izobilny Who Served at Baikonur", "Visits of Cosmonauts to the Izobilnensky District", "Friendship Between the Residents of the Village of Tishchensky and Star City".
