The pre-war membership of the regional writers' organization was small, but what lives are revealed! Each biography deserves its own story. The writers fought at Stalingrad and Leningrad, took part in the defense of the Caucasus, stormed Berlin, and liberated Prague, Budapest, and Sofia. The exhibition allows visitors to trace the combat path of each Stavropol writer who was fortunate enough to return from the war. You can see archival materials, read award citations, and become acquainted with their works. Writers whose names have been familiar for many years and whose works are taught in schools will be revealed from an unexpectedly interesting angle! The exhibition lets Stavropol residents return to the works of Stavropol front-line writers Karp Cherny, Semyon Babaevsky, Effendi Kapiev, Ilya Chumak, Mikhail Usov, Vladimir Dyatlov, Yevgeny Karpov, Ioakim Kuznetsov, Sergey Drozdov, Vladimir Skorik, Igor Romanov, and Veniamin Ashcheulov. The exhibition is presented in the writers' hall of the literary center.
