The event is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Minigali Shaymuratov. This experienced and talented military leader has written a prominent chapter in the military history of Bashkortostan and Russia. The cavalry division he trained and raised served with distinction on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War and celebrated Victory in Germany. The exhibition's exhibits will tell the biography of the first commander of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division, who served as an example of courage and bravery to his soldiers. Visitors will be presented with the traveling exhibition "Our Hero" featuring unique photographs. Film and photo chronicle footage will transport attendees back to the distant wartime years.
