Permanent exhibition 'Halls of Sergey Kalmykov and Vladimir Kibalchich'
About exhibition
At the M’ART Museum of Contemporary Art, two halls of permanent exhibitions dedicated to the world-renowned artists Vladimir Kibalchich and Sergey Kalmykov are open. The artists' formative years are closely connected with the city of Orenburg. Moreover, M’ART is the only museum in the region where their works can be seen. Each hall contains around fifty graphic works. Visitors will not only be able to observe the very different styles of the masters and understand the specific features of graphic art movements, but also learn about the very different fates of Vladimir Kibalchich and Sergey Kalmykov. M’ART guests can also see Kibalchich's personal belongings, AI-animated portraits of Kalmykov, and an authentic etching press, a model of which both masters most likely worked on.
