Music knows no borders. It recognizes neither races, nationalities, nor religions. 'Music is a treasury into which every nationality brings something of its own, for the common good,' — P. I. Tchaikovsky. The exhibition is dedicated to the Soviet orchestras and musicians who performed the music of our great countryman, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, behind the front lines and on battlefields, to the work of the Votkinsk and Klin museums devoted to the composer during the war years, and to the great, inspiring, and life-giving power of the composer's music. At the exhibition you will be able to see wartime newsreels, take part in restoring charred diaries from besieged Leningrad, and hear the sounds of bombings.
