Local History Exhibition of the Valuyki Museum

About exhibition

In 2024 the Valuyki Museum celebrates its 60th anniversary! The staff invite visitors to explore its local history exhibition and take a journey through different historical eras with the help of unique exhibits. The core of the exhibition consists of typological items, documents and photographic records, archaeological, ethnographic and everyday objects, church utensils and the personal belongings of notable local figures. Explanatory texts allow visitors to learn about the history of the Valuyki region from ancient times to the present, its archaeological past in the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages, its socio-economic development, and the people who made significant contributions to improving the welfare of Valuyki residents. Everyone is welcome to visit the local history exhibition.
