Exhibitions of the History and Art Museum
About exhibition
The History and Art Museum opened its doors in 1988 and today consists of four exhibition rooms: the local history hall, the Hall of Military Glory, the "Lukhovitsky Cucumber" hall, and the Tower of Nature. In the first, visitors learn about the history of their native land, how their ancestors lived, what the region is famous for, and what contribution its inhabitants made to the country's development. The second hall contains information about Lukhovitsy residents who participated in the Great Patriotic War and how they experienced those times. The third room tells about the cucumber business, cucumber cultivation technologies, the secrets of vegetable preservation, and recipes. In the Tower of Nature, visitors can learn about the inhabitants of the Lukhovitsy forests.
