About exhibition
The permanent exhibition of the North Caucasus Branch of the State Museum of Oriental Art features more than 1,500 items: archaeology, folk and decorative-applied arts, painting, graphic art, and sculpture. The museum has opened a new permanent exhibition, “Journey to the East,” from the collection of the State Museum of Oriental Art. The exhibition is dedicated to the cultures of Japan, China, Korea, India, Afghanistan, Iran, Southeast, Central and Middle Asia, and to the arts of the peoples of the Caucasus.
