About exhibition
On the guided overview tour, visitors will learn about the history of one of Russia's oldest universities and the life of Nikolai Ivanovich Lobachevsky. The museum's exhibition consists of several halls. In the first hall, tour participants will find out more about Lobachevsky's life and work as a teacher, rector of Kazan University, and the creator of non-Euclidean geometry. Visitors will see Lobachevsky's memorial belongings, unique documents, books, manuscripts, and the interiors of the rector's house. Guests will also discover many interesting facts about the life and activities of the great scientist, as well as about the history of the rector's house and the university complex.
