Exhibition of the M. N. Mordasova Apartment Museum

About exhibition

The museum is located on the fourth floor of an apartment building built in 1958. The tour includes the entrance hall, kitchen, and the small and large rooms of the People's Artist of the USSR. The exhibition occupies the entire apartment and features the singer's original household items and a rich archive of photographs and fan letters. Visitors will see furniture from the 1950s–1960s, a radio, a gramophone, and a sewing machine. Photographs on the walls introduce the family's history and the singer's close circle of friends and colleagues. Also kept here is a notebook with chastushki written in the singer's own hand, and the complete collection of Maria Mordasova's concert costumes is on display.
