Exhibition of Building II of the N. M. Martyanov Museum
About exhibition
The Minusinsk Regional Local History Museum named after N. M. Martyanov invites visitors to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of science, culture, religion and art from different eras. Visitors to the museum — the oldest in the south of Krasnoyarsk Krai and the first in the Yenisei Governorate — will see rare items from the collections. In the halls of Building II you can learn about the region's fauna, the history of the settlement of the Pre‑Yenisei area by Russian settlers and the development of the city of Minusinsk, social and economic transformations of the 20th century; and view cast‑iron Cossack cannons, 19th‑century icons, peasants' tools and models of Siberian settlers' huts, settlers' costumes, birch‑bark and porcelain tableware, archival photos and documents, and much more.
