A guided tour of the Vasily Osipovich Klyuchevsky Museum allows visitors to learn more about the life and work of one of Russia's greatest scholars. Guests will see personal belongings of the great Russian historian and household items of the Klyuchevsky family from Penza, and will visit the memorial house where the future scholar lived with his family from 1851 to 1861. This house, which houses the museum, is a federal cultural and historical monument. Among the exhibits are other items directly connected with the life and work of the famous scholar: editions of his works published during his lifetime, including 'Course of Russian History', samples of his handwriting, a copy of a portrait by L. O. Pasternak, and much more. The museum also hosts exhibitions dedicated to notable events in the history of the country, the Penza region, and the museum itself.
