Volovsky District Art and Local History Museum is a rich historical collection representing the district in all its aspects. It gives visitors the opportunity to learn about the district's history and culture and to gain a deeper understanding of the lives of local residents. The Volovsky District Art and Local History Museum comprises a rich historical collection representing the district in all its aspects. November 29, 1996, was timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Volovsky District. The museum features numerous chronicles of labor glory, items of peasant household life, examples of local peasant clothing, agricultural implements, materials on the development of agriculture and the district's industrial enterprises, the Volovo railway station, the development of education, medicine, and culture, newspapers, materials about war veterans and military actions on the district's territory, as well as works of painting, graphic art, sculpture, and objects of decorative and applied arts.
