Book

A rare book is the first volume of the Histoire générale des voyages, published in The Hague in 1747. The book has a one-piece cardboard cover covered with brown leather. The lids are rigid, and the spine is decorated with five gold-embossed bandages: floral ornaments and stripes. On the second segment of the spine is a red leather sticker with the golden inscription "Histoire générale des voyages", on the third — a technical label with the designation "t I".
