Ocher Local History Museum named after A. V. Netsvetaev invites visitors to learn about the history of Ocher and its inhabitants. The museum was founded in 1941 in the former Stroganov office building in the historic center of Ocher. The museum houses over 29,000 exhibits, as well as 8 exhibition halls and 2 display halls, an observation deck on the roof of the building, and a museum-adjacent park from the Permian period. On the first floor visitors can see fossils from the Permian geological period, a pneumorobot Titanophoneus, and learn about the ancient past of the area. The Hall of Ancient Nature is complemented by exhibitions from the museum's collections. The second floor presents information about the daily life of peasants and craftsmen, traditional local trades and crafts, as well as about people's lives in the last third of the 20th century. The Singing Theatre Hall displays musical instruments, sheet music, theatrical props, and also offers an opportunity to get acquainted with the history of Ocher and its inhabitants.
