Repyevka People's Local History Museum
About museum
The Repyevka People's Local History Museum was opened on October 1, 1993. However, as early as the 1970s there was a public council in which local historians worked on collecting and studying exhibits. All collected materials, documents, household items, military relics and photographs formed the basis of the museum, which houses more than 1,500 exhibits. The museum features 6 halls: a nature hall, two ethnography halls, a hall of military glory, halls of contemporary life, and an open exhibition pavilion. The museum provides individual and group services and also hosts holidays, concerts, exhibitions, lectures and seminars. For children there are play programs using traditional tools and household items. All of this allows visitors to gain a comprehensive understanding of the culture and history of the region.
