Museum 'N. A. Emelyanov's Shed'
About museum
The 'N. A. Emelyanov's Shed' Museum is located in a picturesque spot on the shore of Lake Sestroretsky Razliv in the village of Razliv and is one of the sites of the St. Petersburg State Budgetary Cultural Institution 'Historical and Cultural Museum Complex in Razliv'. In 1917, in the village of Razliv, N. A. Emelyanov sheltered V. I. Lenin and G. E. Zinoviev in the attic of his shed, hiding them from the Provisional Government. For their safety it was decided to move them to the remote shore of Lake Sestroretsky Razliv, where they lived in a hut. In 1925 the memorial museums 'The Hut' and 'The Shed' were created, and in 2005 the St. Petersburg State Budgetary Cultural Institution 'Historical and Cultural Museum Complex in Razliv' was founded on their basis. Exhibitions, themed walks for children, and celebrations are held here, attracting local residents and visitors to the Kurortny District of Saint Petersburg.
