Rostselmash Museum
About museum
The Rostselmash Museum offers visitors the opportunity to see the company's development history and examine products produced throughout its existence. The Rostselmash Museum is not only a record of the past but also an example of how Russian industry strives for global leadership.
The Rostselmash Museum displays products the company has produced since 1929. At that time the USSR was economically isolated, and the country and agriculture had been devastated by wars and revolutions. Therefore, in 1937 Rostselmash sent its combine 'Stalinets-1' to the Paris exhibition, which received the exhibition's highest award — the GRAND PRIX diploma. In 2007 the class-5 ACROS grain harvester began production, and in 2009 the class-7 TORUM. In 2011 the innovative forage harvester RSM 1401 was released. At the same time the Canadian company Buhler VERSATILE, which produces the full range of agricultural machinery, was acquired.
