Open-air Museum 'Fairy Tale Glade'
About museum
\r\n'Fairy Tale Glade' is a unique open-air museum dedicated to fairy-tale themes, the only one of its kind in Crimea. This unusual project was conceived in 1923 by oil engineer Pavel Bezrukov. He came to the Southern Coast of Crimea because he had throat tuberculosis, and the Crimean climate cured him. After the war, Pavel Pavlovich returned and turned the place into an incredible fairy-tale corner. In 1960 the museum was officially opened, but in 1970 it was closed by decision of the local authorities. It is located on the northeast slope of Mount Mogabi and offers stunning views of the cliffs and waterfalls of the Crimean Mountains. Today the museum is a favorite leisure spot for residents and visitors of Yalta.
