Funa Fortress Open-Air Museum
About museum
The Funa Fortress Open-Air Museum was established in 2015 to preserve and promote the archaeological complex known as the Funa Fortification, which dates back to 15th-century medieval Crimea. It is located two kilometers north of the village of Luchistoye (Alushta) and is one of the best-preserved fortification sites. Visiting this museum offers a direct insight into Crimea's history during the period of the Orthodox Principality of Theodoro. Thus, the museum not only preserves historical traditions but also provides an opportunity to enrich the region's cultural heritage.
