Lengiprotrans Museum
About museum
The museum of PJSC "Lengiprotrans" has been operating for more than forty years. It presents the history of one of Russia's largest design organizations, which has been conducting engineering surveys and designing transport facilities since 1935. The museum houses over 900 items, including photo albums about the Baikal–Amur Mainline (BAM) from the 1930s, bread made according to a blockade recipe, photo albums of a Chinese delegation from the 1950s, photographs of Soviet-era instruments, and the diary of L. N. Danilchik. The displays tell the story of the construction of railways such as the Road of Life, the Road of Victory, the BAM, the railways of the Far North, Kazakhstan, and others. The museum offers free tours and quests for schoolchildren, as well as career-guidance meetings for senior classes with participation from engineers.
