Resort Fashion Museum
About museum
The resort history of the town of Zelenogradsk, located in the territory
of the Kaliningrad Region, dates back to the early 19th century, when the East Prussian town of Cranz was granted the status of a royal resort.
It is not surprising that Russia's first museum dedicated to resort fashion was opened in 2022
precisely in this part of the country. The exhibition is housed in the atmospheric building of the former 'Yantar' cinema (built in 1965), which previously served as the center of cultural life in the Soviet town.
To the delight of all who cannot deny themselves moments of cultural enlightenment,
creative entertainment and aesthetic pleasure, the private museum presents an
exclusive collection of historical costumes that were popular among fashionistas
of the 19th-21st centuries.
A lecture hall also operates actively there, regularly hosting
exclusive educational lectures, fashion shows, themed meetings and
original masterclasses with experts from the fashion industry from various cities across
the country.
