Kinzi Arslanov Museum
About museum
The museum invites everyone interested to learn about the history of their native land.
In 1993, the first President of the Republic of Bashkortostan, M. G. Rakhimov, laid the first stone for the museum's foundation in honor of the national hero of the Bashkir people — Kinzi Arslanov, the founder of the village Kinya-Abyz. In 2001 the museum was opened. The museum's goal is to introduce the younger generation to the history of their native land, to instill in children, adolescents and young people a respectful attitude towards the history of the motherland and patriotism. The museum has 4 halls with unique exhibits and a diorama "The meeting of E. Pugachev and Kinzi Arslanov" with wax figures. The ethnography hall displays interesting exhibits reflecting the culture and life of the Bashkir village. Hall No. 2 contains documents of the Peasants' War of 1773–1775. Hall No. 3 is dedicated to the participants of the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945 and to home-front workers. Hall No. 4 features portraits of prominent people originating from the village Kinya-Abyz. The museum invites everyone to learn about the history of their native land and to engage with the history of the motherland.
