The OMK Vyksa Plant Museum is located in an 18th-century historic estate that was the main residence of the Batashov family of industrialists. The building is of historical significance and also serves as the historical and cultural center of the town of Vyksa. It houses works of art, archaeological finds, and exhibits representing everyday life and interiors from the past two and a half centuries. This allows visitors to learn about the development of Vyksa and one of Russia's oldest metallurgical plants. Here you can learn about the factory owners I. R. Batashov and A. R. Batashov; A. S. Pushkin's grandfather - O. A. Gannibal; the hero of the 1812 War - Lieutenant General D. D. Shepelev; the playwright A. V. Sukhovo-Kobylin; the architect A. M. Gornostayev; the hieromonk Varnava of Gethsemane; the engineer-designer V. G. Shukhov; the sculptor B. V. Edunov; and others.
