Vadim Orlov Museum
About museum
A new private museum has opened in Yaroslavl, named after Vadim Yuryevich Orlov — a philanthropist, an honorary citizen of the city, and the chairman of the board of directors of the Yaroslavl Technical Carbon plant. The museum displays Orlov's collections, consisting of Russian and foreign porcelain from the 18th–20th centuries, cast-iron castings, silver and household items. Particularly valuable are the porcelain pieces from well-known Russian factories. The museum building is also of historical significance — it is a federal architectural monument, the former home of the Society of Physicians, which was restored with private funds in 2014–2018. Inside the building there are exhibitions on three floors, as well as a glazed patio, an elevator, a ticket office with a shop, a guest hall with a coffee area and a children's corner.
