The Omsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts named after M. A. Vrubel is not only a place for studying the history of art, but also a venue for cultural events such as exhibitions, concerts, literary evenings, and lectures. It attracts considerable visitor interest and encourages people to explore art. Founded in 1924 under the leadership of F. V. Melyokhin, the Omsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts named after M. A. Vrubel now holds nearly 30,000 works of art, archaeological items, rare books, and documents. Unique exhibits include M. A. Vrubel's panel "Flowers," a collection of portraits by A. G. Yavlensky, watercolors by Beozan Hirasawa, Scytho-Sarmatian gold, Fabergé pieces, and works by Ural gem-cutters.
