Museum 'Igrinsky Patterns'
About museum
The 'Egra Puzhyos' Museum ('Igrinsky Patterns'), founded in 2002, offers an exclusive exhibition of ethnographic materials made by Igrinsky craftsmen of the 19th to early 20th centuries. The museum displays more than 150 tablecloths, as well as towels, bedspreads, sets of clothing, nabilki (traditional textile tools) and blocks for a weaving loom over 100 years old. During your visit you can try on an antique Udmurt costume, see contemporary clothing in an ethnic style, experience being a craftsman and even weave fabric on an old loom. Museum staff regularly conduct expeditions throughout the Igrinsky district, replenishing the collection with new exhibits. You can also have a photo taken as a keepsake and visit the souvenir shop.
