Alarsky District Local History Museum
About museum
. On November 2, 2007, thanks to the initiative of an honorary citizen of Alarsky District and the founder of the A. V. Vampilov Museum, Yulia Borisovna Solomeina, a cultural and educational institution was established. It is located near the Memorial Museum of Alexander Vampilov and the Intersettlement Central Library, creating a unified cultural complex for various events. The museum features exhibitions dedicated to notable local figures, and to the life and everyday customs of the peoples inhabiting the district. The museum's collections contain more than 10,000 items, and visitors are offered tours, meetings, workshops and walking tours. The museum serves as the main methodological center among the museums of Alarsky District and has at its disposal a library of methodological materials.
