Komi-Permyak Local History Museum named after P.I. Subbotin-Permyak was opened on July 30, 1921.

\r\nThe museum collection comprises about 87,000 storage units, including objects of Permian animal style, Sasanian silver, wooden sculpture, miniatures by A.N. Voronikhina, paintings by the avant-garde artist P.I. Subbotin-Permyak, block-printed boards and woven belts of the 19th–20th centuries, examples of cast-iron casting from the late 19th to early 20th century, the archives of the geographer-local historian I.Ya. Krivoshchekov (1854–1916), Hero of the Soviet Union N.I. Kuznetsov (1911–1944), and much more.

\r\nExhibitions 'The Komi-Permyak Land from Ancient Times…' (2008), 'Nature of the Region' (2010) with the multimedia zone 'Secrets of Adovo Lake' (2013), the children's exhibition 'Tales of Ancient Parma' (2011), 'P.I. Subbotin-Permyak. Art Gives Vigor and Joy' (2014), 'The Origin of Life on Earth' (2018), 'Kuzhis Kiez' ('Skilled Hands', 2021) tell about the natural riches, history and culture of the Komi-Permyak people.
