The Kochubeyevsky District Local History Museum rightfully bears the unofficial title of 'a cultural center'. It is an integral part of the lives of the district's residents, starting from kindergarten. Special tours are held for children, and adults are invited to view the permanent exhibitions that tell of the district's ancient past and present. A special place is occupied by the legendary brigade commander I. A. Kochubey, after whom the district is named. The museum hosts local-history readings, theatrical tours, meetings of the club 'Faith. Hope. Love', and also organizes a local-history competition. The museum attracts visitors from various towns and even countries. It is a true cultural center for all residents of the Kochubeyevsky District.
