Kochelaevsky Center of Russian Culture named after F.V. Sychkov
About museum
In 1984 the building was opened, becoming part of the Municipal Budgetary Institution "Cultural Center of the Kovylkino Municipal District" and was named in honor of the well-known local artist Fedot Sychkov. It is located 10 km from the town of Kovylkino. The building's reconstruction was completed in 2017. It houses a model library, a museum room, an art gallery and exhibitions of copies of works by the sculptor S. Erzia and by folk art craftsmen. Tours for district visitors and master classes are also held here. You can see works by decorative and applied arts masters here: dolls in national costumes, jewelry, national costumes, beadwork, patchwork and much more.
