In the village of Lyakova an unusual interactive club-museum, the Old Believers' Homestead, has opened. Here you can learn about the customs and rites of the Old Believers, play their games, try traditional crafts, drink tea made from medicinal herbs and taste black shchi. You can also take part in an expedition to search for traces of a monastery, and choose from several interactive programs: "Old Believers: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow", "To the Descendants of the Old Faith", "Old Faith — Tasty Food", "From the Spindle to the Twist Doll", "Maslenitsa Week in One Day in the Old Believers' Village", "Around Resurrection", "Ivan Kupala", "Studenets' Birthday". In the souvenir shop you can buy commemorative keepsakes as well as organic farm products from local residents.
